Prof. Jun He received his PhD in Environmental Chemistry from National University of Singapore in 2010. He is currently working as Professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in the China campus of University of Nottingham (UoN) in Ningbo (official name: University of Nottingham Ningbo China-UNNC). He is also the Head of Natural Resources and Environment Research Centre and Deputy Director of International Doctoral Innovation Centre (a joint PhD education institute between UNNC and UoN. Prof. He is specialized in the environmental chemistry and pollution control. Prof. He has undertaken research projects worth of around 7 million RMB as of July 2020 funded by a variety of research councils, including National Natural Science Foundation, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and industrial partners. As of July 2020, Prof. He has successfully educated 6 PhD and 1 MRes students to completion, and there are another13 PGR students (as both lead or co-supervisors) working on their research projects; Prof. He has published about 80 peer-reviewed SCI journal papers, four monographs in English and filed a number of patents (3 have been granted). According to Google Scholar, his publications has gained citations of over 1500 with h-index of 23 as updated in July 2020.
