Thomas is a historian and a linguist who joined the School of International Communications in September 2020 as Assistant Professor in Digital Humanities and Chinese Studies. He also holds the roles of Associate Director of the Digital Heritage Centre at UNNC and of Research Lead of the IAPS Research Priority Area (RPA) in Ningbo Studies.
