Dr Shuai Yuan is an Assistant Professor in Accounting from University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). He obtained his PhD in Management from King's College London (KCL). He is a member of CPA Australia, a researcher at the Institute of Inclusive Finance and a member of Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies (IAPS) at the University of Nottingham.

Shuai has published in accounting and finance journals such as European Financial Management, Research in International Business and Finance, Accounting in Europe, Taxation Research, International Taxation in China, and China Taxation. Shuai also serves as the reviewer for multiple international journals, including Business Ethics: an European Review (SSCI), Research in International Business and Finance (SSCI), Journal of Cleaner Production (SCI), Accounting Research Journal (SSCI).

Shuai’s research is mainly in the areas of auditing, financial reporting, corporate governance, corporate finance and supply chain analysis.
