Biography (English)

Dr Shuai Yuan is an Assistant Professor and PhD supervisor in Accounting from University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). He obtained his PhD in Management from King's College London (KCL). Before joining UNNC, Shuai was a teacher of accounting and finance at the University of London.

Shuai has published in journals such as European Accounting Review, European Financial Management, International Review of Financial Analysis, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Internet Research, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Research in International Business and Finance. Shuai also serves as the reviewer for multiple SSCI and SCI journals, including Journal of Business Finance and Accounting (JBFA), Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting (RQFA), International Review of Financial Analysis (IRFA), International Review of Economics and Finance (IREF), Finance Research Letters (FRL), Research in International Business and Finance (RIBAF) and Journal of Cleaner Production (JCP). Shuai's papers have been accepted by several leading international conferences such as European Accounting Association (EAA) Annual Conference, British Accounting & Finance Association (BAFA) Audit & Assurance Conference and so on.

In addition to the traditional research topics of accounting and finance, Shuai also engages in some interdisciplinary research. For example, by collaborating with environmental protection experts, Shuai uses accounting-based methods to analyze the cost-benefit of the usage of clean energy (e.g. Biogas), and the feasibility of pushing the clean energy to the market. The research findings have been published in several leading environmental and engineering journals, such as Bioresource Technology (SCI, JCR Q1), Science of the Total Environment (SCI, JCR Q1).

Shuai also has rich industry experience, and works closely with government agencies, listed companies, accounting firms and professional organisations in China on various engagements, including the joint research and training program with State Administration of Taxation, KPMG, BDO, Moore Stephens, ACCA and CPA Australia.

袁帅是诺丁汉大学（中国）会计学助理教授，博士生导师，伦敦国王学院管理学博士。他是注册会计师，浙江省社科联专家库成员并获得宁波市高级人才认定。在加入宁波诺丁汉大学之前，袁帅曾是伦敦大学会计和金融系教师。

袁帅博士曾在European Accounting Review (SSCI), European Financial Management (SSCI), International Review of Financial Analysis (SSCI), Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Internet Research (SSCI), Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics (SSCI), Research in International Business and Finance (SSCI), Bioresource Technology (SCI), Science of the Total Environment (SCI), Accounting in Europe (ESCI),《税务研究》(CSSCI) 和《国际税收》(CSSCI) 等期刊发表论文近20篇。袁帅博士还担任多个SSCI和SCI期刊的审稿人,包括Journal of Business Finance and Accounting (SSCI), Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, International Review of Financial Analysis (SSCI), International Review of Economics and Finance (SSCI), Finance Research Letters (SSCI), Research in International Business and Finance (SSCI), Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility (SSCI) and Journal of Cleaner Production (SCI). 袁帅的论文已被European Accounting Association (EAA) Annual Conference, British Accounting & Finance Association (BAFA) Audit & Assurance Conference等多个重要国际会议接收。

除了传统的会计和金融领域课题的研究, 袁博士还参与了一些跨学科类的研究。比如，通过与一些环保专家的合作，袁博士使用会计核算的方法用以分析清洁能源（如沼气）的成本效益，以及将该清洁能源推向市场的可行性。该研究成果已发表在多个国际顶级环境和工程类期刊上，如Bioresource Technology (SCI, JCR Q1), Science of the Total Environment (SCI, JCR Q1).
