Dr Melentiev`s interests lay in metal additive manufacturing, precision micro/nano manufacturing as well as surface and coating technologies for biomedical devices, heat exchangers, chemical reactors and hydrogen storage. His research includes AM design, materials processing, microstructure engineering, all sorts of microscopies for surface, interface and coating characterization, heat transfer and fluid dynamics simulations as well as thermal and mechanical testing of the 3D printed structures.
