Abstract
The intensity of ultrasonic damping increased with the void content of polyimide composite, the relationship between the intensity of ultrasonic damping and the void content as well as mechanical properties of composite was established. Therefore, by determining the intensity of ultrasonic damping, the mechanical properties of composite can be predicted directly.
