Graduate attributes of Glocal Talents: Institutional Ethos for cultivation of Glocal Talents

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

This study explores how equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) policy at one Sino-foreign higher education institution and its related EDI activities and events may help cultivate glocal talents. Extracurricular and co-curricular activities (Zhang & Veecock, 2023) may contribute to cultivating graduate attributes (Veecock & Zhang 2023), which in turn can be seen as the qualities and mindsets glocal talents should ideally possess. Observations and suggestions emerging from this case study will inform stakeholders in transnational education in China about effective approaches for integrating the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion into the cultivation of graduate attributes of glocal talents at Sino-foreign higher education institutions.
