Abstract

A direct load angle control (DLAC) scheme of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (IPMSM) is developed in this paper, which is based on load angle increment (Δδ) control without complex reference frame transformation. It features low torque and flux ripples and almost fixed switching frequency by means of Space Vector Modulation (SVM). The theoretical analysis provides a guide to determine the controller parameters. Modeling and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
