Personal profile
Dr. Yangyang Jiang is an Associate Professor in Marketing at Nottingham University Business School China, University of Nottingham Ningbo China and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She did a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from Renmin University of China and earned her Ph.D. at Monash University, Australia. She is ranked among the World's Top 2% of Most-cited Scientists in both 2023 and 2024, and is the recipient of the Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award and the Outstanding Research Supervisor Award. Her academic works have appeared in Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Rural Studies, among others. Apart from working for multiple Fortune Global 500 companies in marketing and management-related functions before joining academia, Dr. Jiang worked for the Olympic Partner’s Global Hospitality Program at four Olympic Games in China, Canada, UK, and Brazil.
