Dr. Yinfeng He completed his BEng degree in Polymer Science and Engineering in Sichuan University, after which he gained his MSc degree in Material Science from Loughborough University. In 2011 he started his PhD study at the Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM) in University of Nottingham, working on Additive manufacturing of Biodegradable Polymers for Stents and Implants Manufacturing. In 2014, Yinfeng started to work as a researcher at Nottingham University and promoted to Transitional Assistant Professor in 2018.

Yinfeng's research interest is in developing functional polymeric materials for the additive manufacturing process. He has been working in photoreactive formulations for over 9 years. Having long experience in formulation development, Yinfeng is now focusing on multi-material inkjet 3D printing and multi-material project micron stereolithography techniques to produce non-trivial devices.
