Greetings! I am an assistant professor in the School of International Studies at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. I received a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.

My research interests include international relations, political economy, foreign policy, public opinion, and methodology. Specifically, I explore the role of mass publics in international relations by drawing from comparative authoritarianism, identity politics, and political communication. My work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including American Political Science ReviewInternational OrganizationJournal of Politics, and Foreign Affairs.
