I have been in Chinese education since 2007, teaching a wide variety of modules and content.
I previously worked at universities in Shanghai and Zhejiang where I specialized in listening and reading skill-based teaching before moving to UNNC in 2009. I am currently the Mandarin Programme Manager of Language Centre. I continue to convene and teach mandarin modules and other duties and expertise within LC.
I have taught language and culture courses in the following Universities:
- University of Nottingham Ningbo China (2010 to present)
- Zhejiang Wanli University(2009)
- Shanghai International Studies University(2007-2008)
I have an on-going project: Learning a language in immersion, hoping to provide learners more immersion context and create materials that can inspire students to study more effectively and more autonomously.
