I specialize in the research area of economic growth. In particular, I am interested in examining the impact of knowledge spillovers on economic growth. My research involves building endogenous growth model featuring a technology network and investigating the connection between the structure of the network and the behavior of the economy.
In addition, I have also done research on studying how bilateral knowledge spillovers affect firms’ decisions on M&As, which aims to shed light on the understanding of how the technology synergy helps shape firm boundaries.
The last aspect of my research is related to the study of the spreading of the financial and the sovereign risks across countries. This research helps to understand what forces affect how and to what extent a country may be hit by shocks originated from other countries.
