Abstract

This poster looks at the use of NHS Estates ergonomic drawings. The questions asked include whether the drawing have reflected changes in clinical practice and medical technology; architects use the ergonomic drawings while designing; and whether there are any problems in the patient room in terms of using ergonomic drawings. An overview of the use of drawings is given in a literature review, pilot study, site visits and expert interviews.
