Abstract
The equivalent calculation model of motor stator with mush coils was presented. Heat transmission between stator and rotor was determined and the calculation method for heat transmission in air gap was given. Based on this, the two dimensional mathematic model of induction motor with compound cage rotor (IMCCR) for whole region temperature field calculation and electromagnetic field were established by using the electro-thermal coupled method. The whole region temperature fields of IMCCR with different loads were calculated, and the temperatures in windings and rotor slot were analyzed. Compared with the experimental data, the correctness of the calculation model was verified. Influences of the variation rotor cage material resistively and permeability on motor temperature field were analyzed and this could help to develop motor design.
