Abstract

Efficiency-improved white-light organic light emitting diodes (WOLED) was designed, which based on thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) tricolor-hyperfluorescent dual-layers. Benefited from the efficient utilization of triplet excitons by effective reverse intersystem crossing (RISC), this WOLED features improved efficiency and long lifetime. In this work, blue OLED based on emitting layer of mCP:BD340 was developed and dual-emissive hyperfluorescent OLEDs based on mono-emitting layer of CBP:4CzIPN (green TADF emitter):DBP (red emissive fluorescent molecule) were investigated. Then, the hyperfluorescent WOLED based on the two emitting layers was designed. The good performances were benefited from the highly efficient hyperfluorescent system. This device architecture design demonstrated here represents a kind of full-organic, low-cost white-light OLED for power-efficient light source.
