Abstract

This paper analyzes the tensions within various feminist critiques of Angela Carter's postmodern vampire story "The Lady in the House of Love" and argues for a reading that uses C. S. Lewis's book The Four Loves as a theoretical framework to reveal the complexities of love as represented in the story.
