Abstract

IN THE above article [1], there were two errors in the printed article that the authors want to correct. 1) In Section II," Corneal Confocal Microscopy Enhancement" (p. 2727), the first sentence "In this work, we propose an image enhancement algorithm to improve the quality of CCM imagery and reduce the noise by considering a noise term explicitly in the classic Retinex model [24]." is incorrect. The correct sentence is "In this work, we adapt an image enhancement algorithm [32] to improve the quality of CCM imagery and reduce the noise by considering a noise term explicitly in the classic Retinex model [24]." 2) In Section II-D, "Implementation Details" (p. 2728), the second sentence "The whole process is repeated until the difference between Rk and Rk+1 is smaller than 0.001." is incorrect. The correct sentence is "The whole process is repeated until the difference between Rk and Rk+1 is smaller than 0.01.".
