Abstract

The presence of common-mode voltage exerts pressure on the insulation system of the motor drive system, induce bearing currents leading to bearing damage, and causes common-mode leakage current that may erroneously trigger relay devices and result in electromagnetic interference. The challenges become increasingly pronounced when high-frequency switching devices are employed in the motor drive system. To address this, a proposed solution involves an integrated filter that incorporates partial motor windings to effectively mitigate the common-mode voltage. However, the change in topology results in a modification of the control object, causing the conventional control strategy to be not applicable. The paper proposes a precise control strategy to enhance the performance of the motor drive system by considering the impact introduced by changes in the integrated motor topology. Simulation results are utilized for comparative analysis of the motor system's performance.
