Abstract

This paper designs the multi-DOF magnetic suspension motor to realize the suspension of multiple degrees of freedom of the motor. The configuration of the multi-degree-of-freedom magnetic levitation motor designed in this paper is mainly on the four electromagnets located above the equator and at an angle of 45 degree. By arranging the four electromagnets at an angle of 45 degree to the equator, it can be achieved. The position of the spherical rotor in multiple degrees of freedom is balanced. After the configuration design is completed, it is verified by the finite element simulation that the designed configuration can realize the multi-degree of freedom suspension of the spherical rotor.
