Abstract

We present a high-level analysis on hybrid WiMAX-WiFi access point router deployment within a single WiMAX base station. In particular, we investigate how well such solution scales towards required data rate per access point taking into consideration different operating environments and network design options. The fair bandwidth allocation scheme is also proposed to ensure that all access routers get equal bandwidth allocation.
