Personal profile
Yu-jin Choi has been active in the field of foreign language education since 2013. She holds an MA in Korean Language and Culture Education (as a Foreign Language) from Korea University in Seoul, where she also completed her Ph.D. coursework. Prior to joining UNNC in September 2023, Yu-jin taught Korean language at Korea University. She is a certified language tutor with certifications in Korean Language Teaching and Mandarin Chinese Teaching.

Research Interests
Her MA thesis explored ways to enhance the listening comprehension skills of Korean language learners for academic purposes within a university context. Her research interests encompass second language acquisition, learner variables, and intercultural communication.
