Research activity per year
Yanjun Guan is Yangtze River Scholar Chair Professor and Chair Professor in Global Sustainable Strategies and Human Capital Management. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from Peking University and his Doctorate in Psychology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2017, he became the first Chinese full professor at Durham University Business School in the UK, and began his professorship at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China's Business School in 2023. His research in the field of organizational management has been published in top journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and so on. In the field of psychology, his research has been published in the flagship journal of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychologist, Nature's sub-journal Nature Climate Change, and well-known journals such as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Science, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. From 2018 to 2023, he served as the associate editor of the Journal of Vocational Behavior, the journal with the highest impact factor in the field of career management; and from 2023 onwards, he will serve as the associate editor of the Journal of Cross-cultural Psychology. Professor Guan Yanjun returned to work full-time in China with the support of a national top talent program, committed to cultivating excellent research talents. Students from different fields are welcome to apply to become Professor Guan Yanjun's doctoral students.
管延军目前担任长江学者讲席教授以及全球化可持续战略及人力资本管理讲席教授。他在北京大学获得心理学学士及硕士学位,在香港中文大学获得心理学博士学位。2017年成为英国杜伦大学商学院首位华人正教授,2023年开始担任宁波诺丁汉大学商学院教授职务。在组织管理领域的研究成果发表于《Journal of Applied Psychology》、《Personnel Psychology》、《Journal of Management》和《Journal of Organizational Behavior》等期刊。在心理学领域,研究成果刊登于美国心理学会的旗舰期刊《American Psychologist》,Nature子刊《Nature Climate Change》,以及《Journal of Personality and Social Psychology》,《Psychological Science》,《Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin》,《Journal of Vocational Behavior》等知名期刊。2018年到2023年担任职业生涯管理领域影响因子排名第一的期刊《Journal of Vocational Behavior》副主编;2023年起担任跨文化心理学期刊《Journal of Cross-cultural Psychology》的副主编。
