Dr. Xiaoyang Wei received his B.S. from China University of Petroleum (East China) in 2013 and Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2019. After graduation, Dr. Wei worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (Department of Energy, US) from 2019 to 2020 and at the University of British Columbia from 2020 to 2021.  His research interests are the development and intensification of multiphase flow systems for chemical, energy, environmental and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Wei has published 11 papers on the top journals.  After joining the University of Nottingham Ningbo, Dr. Wei will carry out interdisciplinary studies on multiphase flow systems, solve the "bottleneck" problems using high-precision 3D printing technology and artificial intelligence (AI), and serve the industrial upgrading, energy conservation, emission reduction and carbon neutrality in China.
