Shengbo (Reed) Wu is a PhD candidate at the Nottingham University Business School China, University of Nottingham Ningbo China. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Shengbo is also an affiliate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Prior to pursuing his PhD, he worked as an analyst for Dow Jones in Beijing, China.

Shengbo’s research interests broadly focus on innovation studies, with a particular emphasis on academic entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and entrepreneurial universities. His work explores how academic elites influence organizational innovation performance in China. Additionally, his research also examines the dynamics of China’s science and technology policies.
