Research Interests

My research critically examines resistance to the relationship between ideological state apparatuses (e.g. higher education and media) and repressive state apparatuses (e.g. policing and prisons) to address a broad, central question: What role do ideological apparatuses play in producing social change toward more just societies? As well as looking toward what alternative ideological forms we can engage toward more just societies.
