Personal profile

Research Interests

  • Process intensifications in Clean-In-Place, heat transfer, hydraulic/pneumatic transport of materials in pipe, mixing, etc. by introducing turbulent swirling flows.
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling of multiphase flows.
  • CFD-DEM coupled modelling on the dispersion of drug agglomerates in dry powder inhalers.
  • Industrial application of swirl pipe.

Personal profile

I am an engineer with research experience in the process intensification in the chemical processes. The rationale of my research is to intensify process by introducing turbulent swirling flows to allow the process to operate with reduced chemical/energy consumption, downtime, and maintenance, toward sustainable production. Previous projects include process intensification in Clean-In-Place, heat transfer, hydraulic/pneumatic transport of materials in pipe, mixing/dispersion of liquids.
