Abstract
This paper considers the structural stability problem for a class of descriptor systems with interval plants. It first derives a norm bound for uncertain descriptor systems to be impulse-free (regular) and stable (i.e. structurally stable). Then, a necessary and sufficient condition for the uncertain linear descriptor systems with interval plants to be structurally stable is established. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the use of the result.
