Abstract

The optimized design of composite skin-stiffened structure with large cutout was conducted by finite element method. The effect of cutout reinforcement and stiffened reinforcement to the buckling load was investigated. The results show that stress concentration is far away from the free edge of hole after flanged reinforcement. The buckling load enhances with increasing both flanged depth and width. The co-cure stiffened is better than integral stiffened. At coordinative condition, the low and dense stiffener is recommended, as well as increasing transverse stiffeners.
