Abstract
The numerical simulation on the gas-solid multiphase flow in a newly developed pulverized coal impact rich/lean burner was described. It uses the Fluctuating spectrum random trajectory model. The influences of inflow velocity, baffle body height and clapboard position on the flow velocity, flow equilibrium between two sides of clapboard, particle distribution and rich/lean concentration ratio were studied numerically. The calculating results are in good agreement with the experimental data. It analyses and reveals the mechanism of some aspects in the separating process based on the multiphase flow theory, and comes to conclusions with application value.
