Abstract

In this paper, for a class of discrete-time linear systems, a fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) method based on adaptive estimation is investigated, and its theoretical properties in detecting faults are established rigorously in the following cases: noise-free case, bounded noise case and l2 noise case respectively.
