Abstract
The behavior of adhesive coatings as seen from the point of view of mechanical material properties is strongly influenced by reaction behavior or the conditions of processing. The course of the reaction may be studied with the aid of analysis of the reaction kinetics. A curing temperature/time/degree of reaction relationship established by this method makes it possible to control the curing process so as to obtain a complete reaction of the functional groups.
