Abstract

The conclusion highlights where Asia and Pacific transmedia reaffirm western practices and where they innovate and suggest directions for future studies on transmedia storytelling in the region and beyond. Future directions include studies from a comparative perspective; crossfield studies-politics, activism, sociology, gender; studies looking at transmedia audiences motivation, and studies focusing on transmedia education.
