I am a writer and English Literature academic, specializing in post-colonial creative practice. I joined UNNC in 2020 after completing my PhD at the University of Sheffield. My novel, The Widening of Tolo Highway, set in Hong Kong, is forthcoming with Penguin Random House SEA 2022
Post-colonial Literature in English; Stylistics; Creative Writing; Narrative Methodology
My research is interdisciplinary, spanning psychogeography, life-writing, and literary stylistics. My current practice-based project, Exits and Departures, involves the development of a methodology for ‘de-politicising’ context and setting in global literature.
