N2 - Despite China's rural carbon reduction goals, previous studies neglect embedded carbon in farmhouse construction materials. This research analyzes embedded carbon emissions of 19 farmhouse designs in Ningbo using national carbon emission standards. Monte Carlo sensitivity analysis reveals exterior wall materials most significantly impact total emissions, followed by roof materials. Transportation factors have minimal influence. Prioritizing heavy diesel trucks for material transport and ultra-low energy materials in design can substantially reduce rural construction's carbon footprint.
