Abstract

The society have observed a significant increase in intelligent products over recent years, which has enhanced work efficiency and quality, and concurrently raised living standards. Microwave ovens, essential in contemporary life, provide significant convenience, but traditional models lack advanced cooking capabilities. This research aims to develop an innovative intelligent microwave oven capable of automatic food recognition and cooking. This research employs computer vision technology and the YOLOv5 algorithm for precise identification of food types. The designed food recognition technology has shown promising results, establishing a foundation for future advancements in intelligent microwave technology.
