Abstract
The mechanical property and thermal shrinkage of the LLDPE fibers extruded at 180°C and the low temperature zone drawn fibres (drawn at 120°C and draw ratio 8-15) were tested. The results show that the low temperature zone drawing can improve the mechanical property of raw fiber to a great extent, producing a self-reinforcement effect, and the thermal shrinkage ratio is increased obviously.
