Abstract
The resistivity behavior of carbon black-loaded semicrystalline polyethylene composites samples with irradiation at different energy doses and temperatures was investigated. The composites were compressed molded and were electron irradiated at 25 and 170 °C. Radiation obviously attacked the polymer structure as demonstrated in heat fusion changes, leading to degradation and increase in crosslinking density. Resistivity vs. temperature plots are shown.
