Abstract
Presentation discussing specific strategies of teaching Hamlet in a Sino-foreign university context by using the Chinese film The Banquet, which is a retelling of the Hamlet story in the context of ten-kingdoms China. Student reactions to the films were discussed and strategies for comparative learning analyzed.
