Abstract
This chapter provides an understanding of creative entrepreneurs and creative entrepreneurship. Creative entrepreneurship—leveraging business for creative innovation (or creativity for business innovation)—differs from traditional entrepreneurship, which mainly focuses on manufacturing and industrial products. The chapter approaches creative entrepreneurship as a combination of creative and management disciplines. It borrows the design thinking concept to guide creative entrepreneurs through the entrepreneurial process. It also provides the basic mindset, skills, and knowledge required to pursue an entrepreneurial career, specifically as the founder of a new business in any creative domain.
