Abstract
The authors regret that under Section 2.1, the original description about the source of the secondary microplastics was inaccurate. The first three sentences immediately under the heading “2.1. Preparation of CP particle” should be replaced by the following two sentences: The secondary microplastics were simulated by immersing 1–4 mm high density polyethylene granules into septic tank wastewater for more than 300 days.
