Abstract
New concepts for the More Electric Aircrafts are pushing towards a DC distribution system for the on-board electrical appliances. In the scenario where multiple high-voltage and low-voltage buses are present, a power electronics converter interface is mandatory. In this paper, a 4-port power converter with galvanic isolation and de-centralized control is proposed. The variable virtual resistor control allows to shift the load priority on demand. Simulations and experiments are reported, showing the feasibility and the flexibility of the solution.
