Abstract

In order to study the influence of different factors on the root stress of wind turbine blades in the process of wind direction change, this paper uses wind tunnel, dynamic rotating platform and rotating signal collector to carry out experimental research on the stress distribution under different wind direction change angular velocity, different tip speed ratio, different strain direction and different wind speed. The results show that the larger the angular velocity of wind direction change, the slower the decrease of the stress value at the blade root. The stress value basically increases from the trailing edge to the leading edge, but the stress value at 0.50c of the blade root is slightly larger than that at 0.25c of the leading edge; during the change of wind direction, the change rule of stress value with time shows an inverse S-shaped downward trend. With the increase of tip velocity ratio, the absolute values of strain values in the three directions of strain flower increase, and after the change of wind direction stops, the longer it takes for the stress value to reach stability, the greater the stress value after stability.
