Yifei Song is an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) China. Her research interests include entrepreneurship, innovation, entrepreneurial finance, and public policies. Her research focuses on the interaction between governmental and private venture capitalists (VCs) when financing early-stage ventures, the investment decisions of VCs (the selection effect), and the value-added services of VCs (the treatment effect). Methodologically, she uses discrete choice and two-sided matching models to address these questions. She received her Ph.D. degree in Strategy from University of Nottingham.
