Personal profile
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science degree (with Distinction) in Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering (2017), and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (2022), all from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC).
After completing my PhD, I first joined NingboTech University as a Lecturer in the Department of Automation. During my tenure, I served as a Core Member of the Smart Port and Service Discipline Group, and led the Scheduling and Optimization Research Direction at the Digital Intelligent Coastal Port Service Engineering Research Center.
Subsequently, I joined the UNNC family in 2025 and currently serve as an Assistant Professor here.
I am currently the principal investigator for several research projects, including those funded by the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists, the Ningbo Young Doctoral Innovative Research Project, and a general scientific research project supported by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education. Additionally, I act as the university-side principal investigator for the Zhejiang Provincial Leading Technology Innovation Program and a Ningbo Municipal Major Special Project.
If you are interested in pursuing the MRes Electronic Engineering program at UNNC and have research interests in artificial intelligence systems, data-driven intelligent decision-making and optimization systems, intelligent transportation, smart ports, or related fields, please feel free to contact me for further discussions and potential research collaborations.
Teaching
Specializing in AI and computer science education, I teach machine learning, computer vision, and programming with a focus on bridging theoretical foundations with practical applications .
