Research Interests
The current research of Dr. Lemanski focuses on data-driven exploration of responsible leadership and responsible consumption in emerging markets. For his research Dr. Lemanski won a major grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, has been awarded the prestigious Erste Bank Prize, the City of Vienna Jubilee Funds grant, numerous other research grants and scholarships, and was a finalist for the “Most Promising Scholar” award of the Academy of International Business. His studies were published in leading journals, books, and presented at international conferences. He currently serves as the Editorial Board Member of Edward Elgar Encyclopedia of Corporate Social Responsibility to be published in year 2022.

Administrative roles
Dr. Lemanski is a Nominated Member of the UNNC Sustainability Committee, and School Representative to the United Nations Champions Group for Responsible Management Education (PRME). Previously he served as the Head of the Department of International Business & Management, Programme Director of MSc International Business, and Research Ethics Officer. At the fora of international scholarly organizations he regularly serves as a Track Chair at international conferences, member of scientific committees and taskforces. Currently he is the Track Chair for International Business and Sustainable Development Goals in Emerging Economies at the Academy of International Business CEE Chapter 2021 annual conference.
Teaching
Dr. Lemanski has rich international teaching experience in bachelor, master, doctoral, as well as executive courses in international business, marketing, sustainability, and research methods. At the University of Nottingham Dr. Lemanski designed and introduced two new courses in the bachelor program. He served as a member of the Interactive Teaching Committee and Faculty Ambassador for Central & Eastern Europe. He acts as a supervisor of bachelor, master and PhD dissertations, as well as Executive MBA Final Projects. In years 2016, 2018 and 2021 he received professional training in teaching methods at the Harvard Business School. In year 2020 Dr. Lemanski was awarded the status of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Since 2021 at the forum of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) he is the Lead on a project for integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in teaching curricula of business schools.
