Personal profile
Miao Wang is a tutor in the Department of Finance, Accounting and Economics in NUBS China. She holds a PhD in finance from University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Miao joined UNNC in 2018, working as a content tutor for preliminary-year courses in business management and economics at the Centre for English Language Education (CELE), and was a visiting scholar of University of Nottingham, U.K. and University of Birmingham, U.K. She also served as the leader of the business content team (2023-2025), and was the module convenor of the first batch provincial double first-class course of “Introduction to Business and Management”. In 2025, she transitioned back to the FAE department at NUBS China. Her research interest is primarily in innovation, and also extends to interdisciplinary study of sustainability, digitalization and low-altitude economy.
