I'm Liming LI, an active researcher in Underwater Robotics and Underwater Remote Sensing. Currently, I'm working with Dr. Adam Rushworth (with UNNC), Dr Salman Ijaz (with UNNC) and Prof. Sanming Song (with SIAT) on underwater laser cleaning topics, where our main focus lies in the removal of biofilm with in-situ configuration. Moreover, I'm also playing a key part in several projects where active sonars are necessary (Acoustic 6D pose estimation, underwater pipeline reconstruction, underwater VR/AR). Before this, I obtained my B. Eng. in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Automation, and my key interest in this period fell in robotics (human-like robot, medical robot, etc.) and involved in Robotics Games of different levels. Following this, I fihished my graduate study in Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences and my research interest focused on underwater acoustic sensing, where hydrophone array(s) were used to monitor the surrounding environment and we used intelligent algorithms for improved performance in several tasks (underwater object counting, F0 estimation, etc.). Moreover, I worked in iFLYTEK Research for two years after my graduation from SIA, and my research focused on intelligent speech signal processing in acoustic feedback systems (typically, the public addressing system).
