Dr Jun Lu is an architect and a researcher with expertise in architectural design (particularly in healthcare facility design), reviewing / developing the building design guidance, applying the ergonomics methods to architectural design and research. 

Dr Lu has a strong research interest in promoting a healing and sustainable environment through evidence-based design (EBD), and is also interested in post occupancy evaluation (POE), participatory design for urban environments and individual buildings, workspace optimisation.

Dr Lu has been involved in a lot of professional activities as a paper reviewer for the academic journals and international conferences, a guest editor of the Health Environments Research and Design Journal (HERD).
