Research Interests
My research focuses on naturally occurring interactions in diverse settings including workplaces, healthcare, and intercultural encounters. My current project sets out to analyse doctor–patient interaction in traditional Chinese medicine consultations by drawing on a linguistic toolkit, with a particular focus on the negotiation of shared decision-making.
Personal profile
I hold a BA in English, an MA in Applied Linguistics, and am currently a PhD student on a fully funded scholarship at the School of Education and English, University of Nottingham Ningbo China, supervised by Dr Du Ping (UNNC) and Dr Kevin Harvey (UNUK).
